gooseberry reduction
Goes well with pork, chicken and cheese
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 half pint of gooseberries cut in half
1 shallot thinly sliced
1 clove of garlic minced
1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar
salt & pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a small pot and allow to simmer for 45 minutes or until thickened.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
